OHA released updated masking guidelines in accordance with the CDC guidance issued last week. This guidance is for fully vaccinated people – meaning those who are two weeks removed from their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
With this new guidance, effective May 19th, CSP is able to remove our mask requirement for those that can prove they are fully vaccinated, while still keeping the safety of our customers as a top priority. Here’s how it will work:
CSP customers who present a photo ID and their COVID vaccination record to the front desk staff will receive a wristband indicating ‘fully vaccinated’ status and will not be required to wear a mask. (A copy or photo of vaccination card is acceptable)
Anyone not meeting these qualifications will be required to wear a mask at all times, unless eating or drinking.
The updated mask policy will also allow for staff that are fully vaccinated to not wear a mask.
During Lil’ Kickers classes and youth leagues everyone is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
The CDC emphasized that those who have underlying conditions or are at high risk may not by fully protected even if you are fully vaccinated. If you fall into a high-risk category, talk to your healthcare provider.
